Academics

At the Lew Muckle PreK-6 School, we are committed to providing a strong academic foundation for all students from Pre-K through 6th grade. Our curriculum is designed to foster a love of learning while addressing the diverse needs of our students through specialized programs and targeted instruction.

We proudly offer an Intermediate Gifted and Talented class, providing enriched learning experiences for students who excel academically. Additionally, our AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) program is available to all students in grades 3 through 6, equipping them with essential college and career readiness skills.

Recognizing the importance of individualized support, we work closely with our special needs program, offering Resource instruction for students who require additional academic assistance, as well as a self-contained class for students with cognitive deficiencies to ensure they receive personalized, structured learning in a supportive environment.
